Blogger on its own is not so much SEO friendly. Templates are not mostly SEO friendly and there are no plug-ins available to make Search engine optimization in Blogger easy. But this doesn’t mean you can’t rank a blogger post on Google first page. Actually, you can if you know the basic SEO is same for all type of platforms. 1. First and for the most tip is about permalink. Always use custom permalink and remove all stop words from your permalink. Keep your permalink length to less the 50. You can add keywords in permalink for better Search engine Optimization for your blog but don’t try to stuff your permalink with too much keyword.

   People sometimes think that SEO is all about stuffing keywords everywhere. It is a very common practice to stuff keywords and facing Google penalty. Now after they get penalized and now afraid. They adopt the reverse practice and use less than required keywords for the crawler to index you into a certain category. So always make sure you write content for people not for Search engines and keep your keywords density in which your article looks natural and easy to use.

   Always add proper labels always choose best labels to put your post in it. Don’t use label post from sub-sub as you miss all label keywords this way.
   
    
4. Rip main page title apart from post title as it is set as default. The homepage title combines with post title is not good SEO practice. Use HTML to give every post its individual URL.
   
5. You have to do your image optimization by writing title and ALT text manually. You have to do them manually one by one after uploading pictures in your posts.
   
    
6. Meta tags are not as much important as spider are improved now and ignore Meta tags. They can easily crawl your content now.
   
7. Always try to add keywords moderately in these three places. The title of your post, description of your post and last line of your post.
   
    
8. If you want to give external links in your post simply add no follow attribute to it. The no-follow attribute will help crawler to know this link is blocked for crawlers to crawl.
